Career

Amy started her career in London as a US securities lawyer with a leading global law firm. Her practice focused on advising issuers and underwriters on IPOs, rights issues and other ECM transactions. She also advised on debt offerings and public and private M&A.

She then completed an MBA at Cambridge with a concentration in Culture, Arts and Media Management. While there, she captained the team which went to the final of the Berkeley Haas Tech Challenge competition.

Since the MBA, Amy has worked in transformation, initially focused on technology to support lawyers, bringing together her prior experience and a passion for how tech can help improve how we work. She became a Certified Scrum Product Owner in 2019.

Amy has continued to expand her expertise, leading a range of transformation projects and programmes covering people, process and technology. She takes a people-first approach, ensuring the transformation meets the needs of the business and is effectively adopted.

Amy also regularly advises early-stage start-ups on strategy and operations. While she no longer offers legal advice herself, she does help companies navigate obtaining legal advice to support their establishment and growth.

For fun

Outside the office, Amy knits and cross-stitches. She has started developing her own designs, leveraging her knowledge from graphic design courses she has taken from University of the Arts London. One of these days, she will learn to crochet.

She regularly plays Beat Saber and other VR fitness games and generally loves experimenting with new technology. She is also an avid music lover, tv and film buff, and fiction and non-fiction reader.
